Since 1988, Enfant Soleil has brought together people across Quebec to help ensure children have access to the best possible healthcare throughout the province by supporting the hospitals and organizations that care for them. We are currently looking for a Communications Advisor who shares our values of collaboration, closeness, recognition, transparency and determination!


We would be happy to welcome you to our team if you live in the greater Quebec City or Montreal area. Our remote work policy is flexible, allowing you to work from home while collaborating with us and occasionally coming into the Quebec City or Montreal office on certain days.

Working language: French

This position is primarily conducted in French. Professional fluency in French (spoken and written) is required.

The role

The person in this role reports to the Communications and Engagement Vice Presidency, whose mission is to position Enfant Soleil’s image in order to increase brand awareness, foster loyalty among donors, partners, and volunteers, and support fundraising initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Communications and Community Relations, the Communications Advisor is responsible for:

  • Identifying families who wish to become ambassadors for the cause, gathering their stories, and serving as their first point of contact;
  • Writing and revising family testimonials;
  • Designing and developing content for video capsules intended to raise public awareness and support Enfant Soleil’s mission;
  • Coordinating all activities related to Enfants Soleil (interviews, procedures, requests, profiles, video shoots, logistics related to their participation in events, etc.);
  • Contributing to the development, planning, and writing of communication content;
  • Participating in the planning of communication tools by proposing topics, writing synopses, and coordinating internal and external collaborators;
  • Planning and coordinating events involving multiple stakeholders from various sectors (film crews, families, hosts, partners, healthcare staff, etc.);
  • Ensuring consistency in editorial direction and brand image across all organizational communications;
  • Writing key messages, briefing notes, speaking notes for organizational representatives, press releases, and other documents supporting the mission;
  • Maintaining and improving communication tools (presentation kits, press kits, media lists, etc.);
  • Proactively contributing to the continuous improvement of collaborative processes and work tools;
  • And of course, supporting the team with various other tasks, because we believe great things are achieved together.

Your experience

  • University degree in communications or a related field;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent French writing skills, with clarity, rigor, and strong messaging;
  • Strong writing and editing skills, knowledge of narrative techniques, and ability to revise content;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ease with collaboration tools (Monday, an asset).
