Porte ton pyj

Wear your pyjamas to school in exchange for a donation: a small gesture that makes a big difference!

Everything you need to know

How it works

Porte ton pyj is an opportunity to have a fun day while raising your students’ awareness of the importance of helping others. This is a turnkey campaign, and with our support, it is guaranteed to be a success!

What

Invite students to come to school in their pyjamas in exchange for a donation. Use the materials at your disposal to make it a festive event while instilling the values of mutual aid and solidarity in your students.

When

Your school can participate either on February 26, during the big provincial day, or on a date of your choice before the end of the school year.

How

You will receive several free promotional tools, including the official poster, donation containers, stickers, a letter for parents, and a giant cheque to announce the total raised. A digital kit will also be provided, with web visuals, photos, and the story of Flavie, the Enfant Soleil ambassador. You will also get a document explaining how to submit your donation.

Participation that does a world of good

Special thanks to our collaborator Éditions Passe-Temps, which will be donating to a school the complete 156-book Escalire collection for grade 1 to 4 students. The winning school will be chosen from among all schools participating in this year's campaign!

Participation that warms the heart

Register before February 9th for a chance to win Chocolats Favoris hot chocolate for your school during the provincial Porte ton pyj day on February 26th! We would like to thank our collaborator Chocolats Favoris for this delicious contest!

"On pyjama day, we learned about the realities faced by children at our school and by other children in Quebec. We also talked about my children, who were born very premature, and the brother of one of my students, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. It was a day full of sharing and emotions."

Sarah Durand

Teacher at École Vinet-Souligny

"I had goosebumps all day as I collected the donations from the classrooms. The kids even 'broke' their piggybanks and took the time to listen to the sick children’s testimonialsThank you for this wonderful initiative, which was a nice balm on our heart right before spring break."

Marie-Hélène Bouillon

Rehabilitation agent at École Mgr Belzile

"The children made some wonderful realizations. Several parents wrote to me privately afterward. They were touched by the event and by their children’s reactions. A big thank you for your support that made this activity so easy!"

Cindy Bergeron

1st-2nd grade teacher at École Félix-Antoine-Savard
