Behind Porte ton Pyj, presented by le Lait, there are families, schools, and children like Estelle.
Enfant Soleil and this year’s ambassador for the Porte ton pyj campaign presented by le Lait, Estelle is a true fighter. After a difficult birth by emergency C-section and time spent in intensive care, she now lives with left-sided motor cerebral palsy. Every day, she faces visible challenges as well as quieter battles, such as performance and separation anxiety. Thanks to the boundless love of her family and the dedication of healthcare professionals, she moves forward, one step at a time toward her dreams.

For her mom, Sonia, an elementary school teacher, the campaign is much more than a simple school activity, it’s a mission of the heart.
“Since my husband and I both work in education, it felt natural to organize this event in our schools!”
Sonia quickly realized the deep impact of this seemingly simple gesture:
“In just one day, we don’t only raise funds. We awaken the awareness of hundreds of children. Through Porte ton pyj Day, our students develop empathy and discover that a simple pair of pajamas can become a symbol of hope for those who spend their days in the hospital.”
For the past eight years, Sonia has been rallying as many schools across Quebec as possible. Last year alone, her energy helped mobilize 26 schools and raise more than $52,000 for sick children!
By being an Enfant Soleil for a second time, Estelle and her family remind us that every child deserves care tailored to both visible conditions and those we don’t always see. Their story is a message of hope… and a call to generosity.
Taking part in Porte ton Pyj means more than just putting on pajamas: it means supporting children like Estelle, planting seeds of empathy and generosity in young hearts, and building a brighter future together.
