Each year, Enfant Soleil helps more than 100 healthcare facilities across the province and provides invaluable support to the four major pediatric centres, which give specialized and sub-specialized care to any child who needs it.
Enfant Soleil also supports projects to prevent illness and encourage healthy lifestyle habits. This year, two such projects will be funded in Nord-du-Québec.

Inukrock Climbers club – $10,000
Various rock climbing equipment will give Inuit children and adolescents in Inukjuak year-round access to a stimulating, safe and supervised physical activity. By facilitating indoor training during winter, this equipment will give around 100 young people ages four to 17 each year the chance to continue being physically active, get together with other young people, take on challenges and build confidence while actively preparing for the summer climbing season.

Nurrait | Jeunes Karibus – $10,000
Each year, 30 to 40 young people ages 10 to 18 from the communities of Akulivik and Kuujjuarapik will be able to benefit from these new hok skis and poles in an outdoor intervention program that encourages participants to develop their personal and social skills and adopt healthy lifestyle habits. This program offers young people an opportunity to form connections with members of their community and surrounding communities while spending time on the land.
