Mikaële Laure was born with a rare condition that put her breathing at risk. From her very first days, a mass in her neck compressed her airways. She was hooked up to tubes, monitored, operated on… but never alone: her family was there, and so were you.
The hospital was her entire world for 18 months. While other babies took their first steps at home, Mikaële Laure’s “firsts” were different: tests, surgeries and constant care.
Then, finally, the long-awaited moment arrived: she got to go home. Thanks to specialized care and equipment funded by Enfant Soleil, Mikaële Laure was finally able to have a childhood filled with discoveries and dreams.
