The 2025 Enfant Soleil Telethon raised a record-breaking $25,253,480

Québec, May 31, 2025—Lifted by the warmheartedness of thousands of Quebecers, this year’s Enfant Soleil Telethon reached a new height: $25,253,480 raised to help bring beautiful things to the horizon for children of all ages. This collective gesture, the culmination of a year-long effort, will bring more comfort, hope and support to hospitals and organizations caring for them across the province.

 “The wave of love and commitment we experienced today gives our mission its true meaning. Thanks to you, beautiful things become possible. Every dollar donated represents the hope for a better future, enabling projects that truly make a difference, save lives, and ease the daily challenges of illness. What you have given today is more than a donation: it is the promise of a brighter and gentler future for our children. Thank you!”

—Jonathan Gendron, President and CEO of Enfant Soleil

This major televised marathon began in the morning with the Salut Bonjour Week-end team for a special one-hour broadcast. Then, starting at 12:30 p.m., live on TVA, the Telethon touched the hearts of viewers with moments filled with emotion, lightheartedness, and even laughter, such as the “sports news” segment hosted by young Enfant Soleil Liam alongside Dave Morissette.

More than 60 artists gathered at Théâtre Capitole showcased their talents through diverse artistic performances for all tastes and ages, from Fredz to Brigitte Boisjoli and her daughter Charlie, as well as unique duos such as William Cloutier and Lou-Adriane Cassidy.

With a refreshed visual identity and enriched content, the 2025 Telethon reflected the evolution of the Enfant Soleil brand.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts…

  • To the Enfants Soleil families who shared their inspiring stories;
  • To the hosts and proud spokespeople for the cause: Annie Brocoli, Maxime Landry, Alain Dumas, Anick Dumontet, Josée Lavigueur, Ève-Marie Lortie, Louis-Georges Girard, Camille Dg, and Dave Morissette;
  • To the members of the medical teams who shared the tangible impact of each donation;
  • To the 400 volunteers involved on-site and at the Call Centre;
  • To the more than 600 partners who mobilize across Québec throughout the year, including our major partners*;
  • And to the thousands of donors, without whom none of this would be possible.

“We would like to tell everyone who donates to Enfant Soleil that their contribution truly makes a difference in the lives of children. If Rose hadn’t had access to all this care, she probably wouldn’t be here today. It takes an entire community to give children a better life and help them thrive. Thanks to you, there is hope. Thank you!”

—Marie-Ève and Bernard, parents of 4-year-old Rose, Enfant Soleil

Brighter Days Are on the Horizon!

Thanks to you, Enfant Soleil will be able to continue its mission, supporting innovation and excellence in the province’s university pediatric centres while also helping hundreds of hospitals and organizations dedicated to children’s health throughout Québec. Together, we’re making a real and meaningful difference in their care journey. The donations collected help provide specialized medical equipment, create warm and comforting care environments that support well-being, and ensure that children can receive treatment in every region, allowing them to stay close to home, surrounded by their loved ones. The funds raised also help enhance services through innovative programs, support clinical research that pushes boundaries, promote healthy lifestyles from an early age, and, above all, spread hope that every child can look toward a gentler horizon.
